How to Change an Entire Presentation’s Formatting in PowerPoint

If you’re wishing to reuse a PowerPoint presentation but would like to clear the slideshow’s format, there’s no need to do it slide by slide– you can do all of it at the same time. Here’s how.

First, open the PowerPoint discussion with the format you wish to edit. To highlight the in the past and after, here’s what we’ll be dealing with in this example.

Once you’re all set to reformat, choose the “Slide Master” alternative in the “Master Views” group of the “View” tab.

The very first child slide is picked by default. Make sure to select the parent slide above it, or the changes will not occur for every slide.

If you want to designate a new style to the discussion, you can do that here. Select “Themes” from the “Edit Theme” group and choose your desired theme from the drop-down menu.

Each theme includes its own distinct set of fonts, colors, results, and so on– and there’s certainly no scarcity of items to pick from. If you wish to stick with your current style however change some of the individual format options, you can do so with the choices readily available in the “Background” group.

Here are the different choices offered for reformatting:

To make changes, pick the option from the menu and pick your wanted modification from the menu that opens. If we wanted to alter our colors from “Gallery” to “Green Yellow,” we ‘d pick “Colors” from the “Background Group” and then choose “Green Yellow” from the drop-down menu.

Repeat these steps for whichever choices you ‘d like to change. We’ll make the following changes to our slideshow in this example:

Once you’ve made the wanted modifications, choose the “Close Master View” button in the “Close” group.

You’ll now see the modifications applied throughout the whole discussion.

And a closer appearance reveals all the finer information.
