How to Automatically Create a Backup Copy of a Word Document When You Save it

Backing up your papers is always an advantage to do, yet not always something we keep in mind to do. Word can immediately produce a backup copy of your Word file every single time you save it and also we’ll reveal you just how to do this.

Only one backup duplicate of a record is maintained. When you save the document once more, the existing “. wbk” data is deleted, the present document is relabelled as the upgraded “. wbk” data, as well as the record is conserved again as a conventional Word file.

Having Word produce automatic backups of your records must NOT be made use of as a substitute for supporting your documents to external media or cloud storage (or both) on a regular basis.
